Pragmatic Play, a leading game developer, has donated €10,000 to support Inspire Foundation in its mission to build a new Rehabilitation Centre for the Maltese community.

Pragmatic Play’s donation will go towards building a new centre for those needing long-lasting rehabilitation such as stroke victims, people involved in serious accidents, those who suffer with Fibromyalgia as well as the elderly. The plan is to transform the site of the previous fitness centre so that it will also include a space for therapy of the highest standard, benefitting persons who are suffering from restricted physical mobility and to achieve movement and hence, an improved quality of life.

“At Pragmatic Play, we believe in using our success to uplift others and our CSR programme reflects this ethos. That is why we are proud to support Inspire and their mission to empower individuals with disabilities by providing them and their families with vital educational, therapeutic and leisure services. We have been impressed by their work in Malta for some time, and we were excited to learn about their plans for a new Rehabilitation and Wellness Centre. Our donation reflects our belief in their vision to help bring this valuable resource to life and our continued commitment to making a positive impact in the community.” said Julian Jarvis, CEO at Pragmatic Play.

Pragmatic Play takes pride in recognising its responsibilities beyond the iGaming industry and its duty to assist those in the communities where it has a presence. With a global footprint, the company is passionate about proactively helping those in need and furthering projects that are close to its team’s hearts.

“Inspire Foundation supports individuals with various disabilities, such as autism and cerebral palsy through specialised programmes and services that help to prepare these individuals for inclusion and full participation in society, on a daily basis. For this reason, we rely on support from the public as well as government and private businesses such as Pragmatic Play to continue providing our very well needed services, especially when we endeavour to introduce completely new services such as the planned Rehabilitation Centre that will require a significant capital outlay of almost €500,000. We are truly grateful for this generous donation that will go towards this exciting new project that we have now kicked off and hope to have up and running later on this year,” said Antonello Gauci, CEO of Inspire Foundation.

The Inspire Foundation draws on many years of experience and continues to work on the development of programmes and services for and with persons with disability. It specialises in aiding those on the autism spectrum, having profound multiple learning difficulties and those with behaviours of concern. Its range of services include educational and therapeutic programmes, family support, as well as several therapeutic facilities such as therapeutic horse-riding, hydrotherapy, and multi-sensory therapy.
