MeDirect believes that creating a positive impact extends beyond banking and investing. It means supporting initiatives that help build stronger communities and create opportunities for those who need them most.
That is why MeDirect’s Social & Events Committee is proud to sponsor a child through Inspire’s STEP Beyond programme, helping ensure that an autistic child receives the support they need to develop the skills and confidence required for a successful transition into school.
Inspire supports more than 1,000 individuals with disabilities every year, with STEP Beyond recognised as one of its most impactful programmes. Designed for autistic children aged between 6 and 9, the programme focuses on developing essential social, communication and daily living skills, while helping children build emotional regulation, independence and self-confidence.
Through 35 weekly sessions delivered by trained Inclusive Education Practitioners in small, supportive groups, children are given the tools they need to better prepare for mainstream school environments and future learning opportunities. Inspire is currently working to expand the programme to reach more than 80 children.
By sponsoring a child, MeDirect is helping ensure that this vital service remains accessible to families and that autistic children continue to receive the support they deserve during some of the most important years of their development.
