The FirstUnited Group has presented a donation of €2,500 to Inspire Foundation. The funds donated have been collected together with staff and will be used towards the Winter Programme that is run every year by Inspire. All employees at FirstUnited take pride in the close friendship which the Group has built over the years with Inspire and strongly believe in supporting Inspire’s mission.
“Inspire’s Winter Program targets children with disability who attend mainstream schools and follow an adapted school/class. The programme works on the principle of cooperation between Inspire staff/volunteers and LSA’s, where together we work hand in hand in supporting children to achieve their individual needs. We thank FirstUnited wholeheartedly as it is only thanks to such generous donations that we can continue giving such services for free,” explained Inspire’s Financial Controller Edward Poulton.
This service is offered free of charge but costs thousands to run. Between September and May around 240 children attend different sessions offered. Inspire offers a safe and inclusive environment for children enabling them to learn, interact and develop their skills together, through a number of fun and educational activities.
FirstUnited operates as insurance brokers, insurance managers, financial advisors and risk consultants.
