The Inspire Foundation now has access to an Online Resource Library which will allow members of its staff to be constantly updated with the latest evidence-based tools that help improve the service offered to its clients.
The Online Resource Library, which is being sponsored by Casino Malta, will offer research tools that enhance the knowledge of all those working within the foundation, helping to develop current methods being used and allowing for personal and specific interventions when dealing with clients.
This resource tool will provide an additional advantage over the Continuous Development Programme (CPD) which is offered to staff members, as it will allow them to develop skills and knowledge related to their professional career all throughout the year, and not just during certain training/workshops. Tutors and therapists can use this informal and self-directed tool to learn more about specific topics of interest and apply them to methods they already use.
The Online Resource Library offers access to a number of research journals and other stimulating material that are invaluable to staff members. Such journals include research about Occupational Therapy, Family Therapy, Autism and Development difficulties to name a few.
The Inspire Foundation expresses its gratitude to Casino Malta for choosing to fund this project through its CSR Programme. Such a project will ultimately enhance the services being offered to its clients, because staff members have a better knowledge-base to apply to their practices.
The Inspire Foundation helps over 1000 individuals with various disabilities ranging from Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and others. A number of services are offered at a highly subsidised rate or sometimes even for free. Services include educational programmes, classic and complimentary therapies and school outreach programmes.
