It's a KnockoutInspire – The Foundation for Inclusion will be once again organising its annual fun-filled charity fundraiser – It’s a Knockout.  The theme this year will be  “We’re all Going on a Summer Holiday,” because the theme of all the games has inspired by our great summer months.

“Once again, we be collaborating with UK Outdoor Event Specialists Graham Fisher’s International It’s a knockout, who organise games and challenges based on the famous BBC television programme,” explained Christine Agius Tellus, Inspire’s Fundraising Manager.  “The series was so successful it became a national obsession with over 18 million viewers ever week and ran for a staggering 19 years.”

Between the 2nd and 4th May a large inflatable obstacle course will be set up at The Malta Shipyard in Marsa, where companies, clubs and organisations will meet in a relaxed, fun and stress-free environment outside the office where they can create and strengthen bonds and break down barriers during a memorable experience.

The teams are set tasks to complete by negotiating the inflatables in a race against time. The games are deceptively simple but hard to complete and there are both physical and mental challenges requiring individual skills and teamwork.

Participants can be a group of colleagues, friends or family and will form teams of between 8 to 10 people over 18, so long as they are reasonably fit. The teams play the same number of games and the day is followed by a closing awards’ ceremony. A good number of companies amongst which are Vodafone, BOV, KPMG, Farsons and Ernst & Young have already confirmed their participation

It's a KnockoutIn addition to having some healthy fun together as a team, participants will also be helping Inspire, which helps over 1000 children and adults with learning and physical disabilities. It focuses on their full potential, irrespective of their ability, through a range of educational, therapeutic and recreational services and programmes.  Teams are encouraged to wear their company or organisation’s t-shirt.

Participation donations which start from €675 per team may be raised in various ways & participants are encouraged to fundraise further so that Inspire can reach out to more children & individuals with disabilities.
