The Inspire Bżonnok, a heartwarming 12-hour live broadcast, raised €355,054 for Inspire Foundation’s newest project, Centru Stubbs. This facility, located in Marsascala, will serve approximately 5,000 individuals with disabilities, offering specialized therapies and rehabilitation services.
Centru Stubbs shall consist of accessible spaces equipped with the necessary technology to provide educational, recreational, therapeutic, and social learning opportunities. This centre will be offering a number of new programmes, such as one for independent living, a specialised daycare centre, programmes to help adults with disabilities to enter the world of work, as well as a respite centre. Existing programmes will also be expanded upon.
The telethon, which gathered overwhelming support from the public and corporate sectors, also featured inspiring stories from individuals whose lives have been positively impacted by Inspire’s services.
The estimated total cost for Centru Stubbs is a substantial one, but this amount can guarantee a smoother start to this project.
