It’s been a while since we touched base and for this we apologise.
You see, we’ve been busy keeping inspire going as well as celebrating our clients’ successes. The last three months have been quite challenging:
we had some difficult times keeping the indoor pool and fitness centre up to scratch. For this I would like to take the opportunity to thank our members for their patience.
we started the process of giving the Marsascala park a much needed facelift. We still have a long way to go but the first steps have been made.
and we got down to waterproofing our roofs to avoid further damages.
The expenses for all this piled but thanks to donors, volunteers and our staff, who gave their absolute all, we made it.
Below is a letter we recieved from a mother whose son, Nicholas, attends Inspire’s Winter Programme. It pretty much explains why we do what we do, and why we need your help to keep doing it.
I invite you to read it.

Nicholas’ story – why we do what we do
Nicholas is 15 now and has been attending the inspire programme since he was in primary school. Its always a nice experience and a good therapy as his tantrums are getting less each year. His favourites are the dark room and the ball room as they help him calm down. In fact he feels like he’s in a pool relaxing with friends. Horse riding and feeding the animals is another therapy that helped Nicholas in controlling his tantrums. More programmes like these should be integrated in the curriculum as our children with certain conditions will benefit and help us parents to focus more on our children’s future.Sandra Borg
Your generosity is what makes this possible
Last month, INSPIRE families, employees and volunteers got together to help out in a project sponsored by the very generous Dulux Paints and Vee Gee Bee. Inspire was chosen as this year’s organization for the Dulux Let’s Colour Project.
Rotary Club Malta has held the seventh Rotary Hands-On Dayon Saturday 30 May at Inspire Marsascala. Rotarians from the club, Interactarians from Interact Club St Edwards College and friends gathered to clear, clean and tidy the outside area which is enjoyed by the clients of Inspire.
Our next mission is to complete some urgent maintenance work in Bulebel
Besides volunteering their time to help us clean up the park and other areas The Malta Rotary Club was also generous enough to sponsor all the water-proofing and plastering works that needed to be done in Marsascala.
There are no words to thank Malta’s Rotarians enough but THANK YOU.
We are now seeking to raise another €3,000 in order to do similar necessary works in Bulebel.
This is where most of our disability programmes are held and we need to get the works done before another winter sets in.
