The chosen candidates will form part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of professionals in the field and will be required to work directly with children on the autism spectrum or with children with intellectual disabilities on an individual basis as well as in group settings. The tutor would be responsible for providing a positive educational environment where children have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for further development and growth.

The chosen candidate should be in a possession of a degree in a related field and have excellent written and oral communication skills both in Maltese and English.

Having a clean driving license is also important for this role.

Lifeguard - Part Time

Inspire Foundation is currently looking for a part time Lifeguard to work within our fitness centre. 

The selected candidate must carry a valid Lifeguarding certificate.

Flexible working hours to include Morning, Evenings, weekends and public holidays  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Ensure all safety measures are observed on poolside and within the pool facility at all times

·         Ensure pool chemical checks are carried out at specified times and action taken accordingly

·         Enforces pool rules and maintain discipline

·         Assist with clients where needed

Therapeutic Horseback Riding (THR) Service Assistant.

The ideal candidate should be willing to work in our THR arena during weekends & Public holidays. The person will ensure that the horses at Inspire are well taken care of and for the site to be kept in appropriate condition for service delivery.

Full time Chief Operating Officer

Inspire is looking to recruit a Full time Chief Operating Officer to join our team. The COO is a critically important position in our organization, and shall work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership team to deliver on providing quality services to our customers and clients.

The COO shall provide leadership and management related to all daily operational functions, including overseeing facility management and the social enterprise function within the organisation. Other essential tasks shall include:

Part time IT Tutor

We are looking to appoint a Tutor to join our IT educational programme. At Inspire, IT Tutors work directly with children and young adults on the autism spectrum or with intellectual disabilities and the role involves teaching primary and/or secondary students the ECDL syllabus and provide a holistic approach towards the development of students.

The ideal candidate must have the necessary ECDL qualifications, good computer skills, able to work under minimum supervision and have own transport. Previous experience in teaching/tutoring will be considered an asset.

Generally, sessions are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 17:20 till l9:20, and are subject to change.

Full time Tutor ( GOZO )

Tutors will be required to work across programmes, including the Autism and intellectual disabilities departments. The tutor will also work closely with allocated clients, on a one to one home/school/community setting, as well as in groups.

The chosen candidate should be in a possession of a degree in Psychology or in a related field, have excellent written and oral communication skills both in Maltese and English, and be willing to work flexible hours, across a 40 hour week, between Mondays and Saturdays. 

Candidates who have experience working with children with various intellectual disabilities and autism will be given preference. Having a clean driving license is also important for the role.

Full time Occupational Therapist

We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team of therapists. The chosen professional will need to carry out comprehensive specialist initial assessments of clients within a multidisciplinary context, offer intervention according to need, monitor progress and reassess periodically in order to be able to formulate professional reports. The chosen individuals will be working in collaboration with other staff members and support systems in order to maximise the development of the service user’s potential in an inclusive environment.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Work experience in this field is desirable. This person will be working with individuals exhibiting a variety of difficulties such as autism, neurological difficulties and intellectual disability.

Casual Receptionist (Part Time)

Inspire is looking to recruit a part-time casual receptionist to carry out front office duties both in our Marsascala and Bulebel premises.

Job Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for handling all front office desk matters, including:

  • Attending to visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
  • Answering, screening and forwarding any inbound phone calls, whilst providing information when needed.
  • Cash handling and data inputting.

The ideal candidate should have proven working experience in similar roles, proficiency in Microsoft office applications and has solid communication skills, both written and verbal (Maltese and English).

The role requires staff to work on a shift basis, including morning and evening shifts during the week, weekends and public holidays.

Administrative Assistant to Volunteers Department (20 hour week)

Inspire is looking to recruit a part time [20 hours/week] ‘Administrative Assistant to the Volunteers Department’ to support in the overall running of the Volunteers department. The person will work closely with the Volunteers Manager, with the primary responsibility to assist in the recruitment and management of EVS volunteers, interns and local volunteers on a daily basis. A few such tasks would include:

-Weekly timetabling of a team of 30 volunteers;

-Responding promptly to emails and phone queries;

-Dealing with volunteer and staff requests promptly and efficiently;

-Working independently and with minimal supervision;

The ideal candidate should be willing to meet new people, be a good communicator and able to work in a fast paced and pressured environment.
