The chosen candidate should be in a possession of a degree in a related field and have excellent written and oral communication skills both in Maltese and English.

Lifeguard - Part Time

Inspire Foundation is currently looking for a part time Lifeguard to work within our fitness centre. 

The selected candidate must carry a valid Lifeguarding certificate.

Flexible working hours to include Morning, Evenings, weekends and public holidays  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Ensure all safety measures are observed on poolside and within the pool facility at all times

·         Ensure pool chemical checks are carried out at specified times and action taken accordingly

·         Enforces pool rules and maintain discipline

Star 25 Tutor : 25 hours a week

The Role:

Part time Charity Shop attendant

We are looking for individuals, ideally with work experience in the retail sector, to join us as a Part time Charity Shop attendant in our outlets [Southern area]. The attendant will help to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service, through carrying out a full range of duties involved in the running of the shop, including;

- Accepting donated items;

-Operating cash tills and accepting all forms of payment;

- Pricing and sorting of items.

The ideal candidate should be willing to work flexible hours in the mornings and afternoons. Working days might also include weekends and public holidays.

Swimming Instructors - Part time

Inspire is looking to recruit part time qualified swimming instructors to join our fitness Centre swimming school.

 The swimming instructor will assist in the delivery of well-structured swimming lessons to children over 4 years of age.

The main responsibilities include: 

 - To ensure that all possible safety measures are observed, including taking care of proper equipment;

- To perform assigned coaching responsibilities

- Responds to inquiries and requests from staff, parents and lesson participants

 Previous experience in coaching and teaching will be considered an asset.

Inspire Swimming Club Assistant Coach (10 hours / week)

Inspire Swimming club are looking to recruit an experienced assistant swimming coach to complement our growing swimming club.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in coaching children aged 10 and over

Responsible for

  • Conducting practices and workouts for swim team members as guided by the swimming coaches
  • maintaining a safe & welcoming environment for all swimmers and parents
  • Attend Swimming time trails and competitions locally and abroad (if required)

Freelance Occupational Therapists (Gozo)

Inspire is looking to recruit freelance Occupational Therapists to offer services within our programmes. The chosen professional will need to carry out comprehensive specialist initial assessments of clients within a multidisciplinary context, offer intervention according to need, monitor progress and reassess periodically in order to be able to formulate professional reports. The chosen individuals will be working in collaboration with other staff members and support systems in order to maximise the development of the service user’s potential in an inclusive environment.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and have own transport. Work experience in this field is desirable. This person will be working with individuals exhibiting a variety of difficulties such as autism, neurological difficulties and intellectual disability attending Inspire. Services are to be offered in Gozo.

Team Leader - Full time

Inspire is looking for a Team Leader to join our School Outreach Programme.The chosen candidate will need to lead and support the team within a multidiscplinary context. The team leader is responsible for the development and smooth running of the programme and this includes liaison with third parties as well as mentoring of staff members.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to Social Sciences. Work experience in the field of disability is essential and experience in leadership is desirable. This person will be leading a team of individuals working with students exhibiting a variety of difficulties such as autism, challenging behaviour, intellectual disability and profound neurological and learning difficulties.

Tutor - Adults Programme

Inspire is looking to recruit a Full time Tutor to form part of a team consisting of professionals in the field and will be required to work directly with Adults with a disability aged 16+ with intellectual disabilities. The role of the tutor is to focus on providing a positive supportive environment through the preparation of activities with the ultimate goal to develop functional skills.

The chosen candidate should be in a possession of a degree in Psychology or in any other related field of study or having two years` experience working in a similar environment, have excellent written and oral communication skills both in Maltese and English, as well as basic computer skills.

The tutor will be required to work on a flexible schedule and a clean driving license is also important for this role.

Part time Support tutors (summer)

We are currently looking to employ Part time support tutors who are either qualified or currently studying within the field of Education, Psychology or one of the Social Sciences to work during the summer, for a definite period.

 At Inspire, Tutors form part of a multi-disciplinary team and work directly with children on the autism spectrum or with children with intellectual disabilities. We will give you the opportunity to work in a variety of different settings, on an individual basis as well as in group settings. Sessions may also be held in our therapeutic horseback riding area, multi-sensory rooms and in our hydrotherapeutic pool.

Full time Charity Shop Transport Supervisor & Driver
