Last month a group of teenagers from Inspire participated in a live-in, which was organised by PACES Department. The main aim of this live-in was for the teenagers to get a chance to practice independence skills. Some of the activities included cooking, cleaning up, going on a night-hike and a live concert, taking a shower as independently as possible, choosing what to eat, making a shopping list and going to the supermarket to practice money skills, taking part in games and packing up the bags to go back home. The teenagers had a blast and enjoyed every minute of this experience!
Such experiences are invaluable life lessons for our clients and they are only made possible thanks to your generous donations. Thank you. |
